We Listened to Your Feedback and Updated the Flywheel Driver Portal!

About three months ago we unveiled the all new Flywheel Driver Portal and since then we have been getting a lot of great feedback from drivers on the features they want, and the overall usability of the system. We took this feedback and completely rebuilt our portal, keeping what was good and changing the things that could be better.

Today we are relaunching the portal and we wanted to let everyone know how to register as well as the features available to you in the Flywheel Driver Portal.

What is the Flywheel Driver Portal?

The portal has all the information drivers need on their Flywheel trips, and displays important driver information. Features include:

  • Profile Information

  • Personal Information such as, phone number, pin and the fleet. Don't worry this information is securely stored and only available with your unique login.

  • Account Information

  • Information on the bank account where your money is being transferred.

  • Rides

  • Display, email or directly print ride history with detailed information. Emails are sent to the email address on the driver profile.

  • Ride history includes: Ride Date and Time, Base Fare, Tips, Tolls, Total Fare, Payment Type and more!

  • Settlements

  • You now view, email and print all of their settlements and view the status.

  • Each settlement has a dropdown showing all ride details.

How do I Register for the Flywheel Portal?

If you already registered for an older version of the portal you can use that login to gain access, if you don't have a login follow these steps. First, you need to visit the Flywheel Portal. You can get to the Driver Portal by clicking here, or by copying the following URL into Safari, Internet Explorer or Chrome browsers: https://driver-portal.flywheel.com/login#/

When you first enter the portal you will see ‘Portal Log in.’ If you don't yet have a login click on Driver Registration in the very top right corner to begin the process.

To register you will need to enter your phone number and your Flywheel app PIN. Once you have entered this information an SMS will be sent to your phone with a secret code you will enter to verify your identity.

Once your identity has been verified you will enter your email and pick a password. The email will be your Flywheel Username for future logins.

What Can I Do in the Flywheel Driver Portal?

As we mentioned above there are four main functions in the Flywheel Driver Portal that will help you keep track of your rides and earnings.

Profile Information:

This screen shows you all your account information including name, phone number, Driver ID and PIN. It also displays the fleet you currently drive for.

Account Information:

Here you view your bank information where your settlements are transferred. If your payment information is incorrect you can contact your dispatch or Flywheel at drivers@Flywheel.com.

Rides:

In the ‘Ride’ Tab you will find the details of all the rides you’ve taken in the past day or past week. You can also see a map that includes the pickup location. If you are driving a Flywheel TaxiOS car you will also see the distance travelled and drop off location as well.

Settlements:

There is also a tab called ‘Settlements’ that will show you all your settlements grouped by day for the past year. You can break out each day’s settlements into the individual rides you took, displaying pick up location, total fare, tolls, surcharges and Flywheel fees paid. With Both Rides and Settlements you can search for specific dates then print out or export this information to your email.

This is just a explainer, but we encourage you to test out the new Flywheel Driver Portal by clicking here now!

The updated portal's ride history export feature sounds very useful for driver record-keeping. To make the onboarding experience more engaging, an AI song generator could create personalized welcome tunes for new drivers. That would add a fun touch to an already practical tool.

I appreciate how Flywheel rebuilt their driver portal based on actual feedback from drivers, especially the new ride history and settlement views. For anyone managing subtitle files for tutorial videos about driving apps or portals, a reliable srt to vtt converter can save a lot of formatting headaches. Keeping digital tools updated with user input really makes a difference.
